• - Notice each child’s learning and physical growth, then collaborate with parents to enhance the development of their child.
• - To develop a loving and caring environment so the children feel at ease, like they’re in their own home.
• - To develop the talents and capabilities of children in my care.
• - To provide a stimulating, healthy, and caring environment.
• - To encourage children to become involved in play-based learning by providing interest-based activities, enabling them to develop their capabilities, and at the same time build on their needs, challenges and strengths.

I aim to develop a strong Sense of wellbeing for the children. This is achieved by:

• - Helping the children develop dispositions for learning such as curiosity, cooperation, confidence, creativity, commitment, enthusiasm, persistence and imagination.
• - Helping the children develop a range of skills and processes such as problem solving, inquiry, experimentation, hypothesising, researching and investigating.
• - Teaching the children to transfer and adapt what they have learned from one context to another.
